NBA Best Bets Thursday 11/10

Things have been slowly but surely profitable over the last 10 days of NBA Betting with Happy Hour. After a 3-2 day yesterday for +0.9u, we now sit at 12-9-0 for +1.65u over the last 10 days. It is a smaller slate today, so I will have a short write up. If I add any additional plays throughout the day, you can find them @AndyHHSports on Twitter. With that out of the way, let’s jump right in:

Bam Adebayo over 31.5 Points/Rebounds/Assists (-115) - 1.5 Units

Bam has had a slow start to the season by his standards but showed four dominant games in a row towards the end of October and beginning of November. He will look to get back on track against the Charlotte Hornets tonight who are flying into Miami off of a back-to-back. The Heat should be well rested as they have not played since Monday.

Bam has a solid history against the Hornets over the last two years, going well over this mark of 31.5 points, rebounds, and assists all but one time in seven games, clearing it by a lot in the past five. The Hornets are not very good at all with their interior defending, and I expect Bam to have his way with Mason Plumlee similar to how Trendon Watford and Drew Eubanks did for Portland last night in Jusuf Nurkic’s absence. Charlotte ranks in the bottom 20% of the league in percentage of points given up in the 2-Point range and bottom 20% in opponent points in the paint per game.

Bam should have his way with a tired Hornets team who consistently struggles to find big men who can defend inside. Let’s watch Bam and the Heat feast on Charlotte tonight after a rough 4-7 start for one of last year’s Eastern Conference Finalists.

New Orleans Pelicans -7.5 (-110) - 1 Unit

When it was announced that Damian Lillard was out tonight I jumped on this play as fast as I could.  I would still play this at -8.5 where it is now as well.

Jusuf Nurkic could also be out tonight once again for the Blazers which could prove to be tough for their offensive production and their ability to defend inside.  Zion Williamson and Jonas Valanciunas have been absolute menaces inside for the Pelicans this season, and I think they will fare well after Mason Plumlee got a very easy double-double against Drew Eubanks and Trenton Watford last night.  Both teams are coming off of a back-to-back, but this feels like a big letdown spot for the Blazers who have otherwise been red hot.
