NBA Best Bets Friday 11/4

It has been quite the eventful NBA news week, and we have had some eventful results! Monday through Thursday has shaped up to be 7-5-0 for +0.475 Units. Profit is profit, and I will look to put some extra beer money in your pocket once again as we head into the weekend.

I ended up going 4-0 this week on Twitter for just north of +4 Units. If you are missing out on the action there, let's change that! Throw me a follow at @AndyHHSports as I am always active there every day. Now, without further ado, let's jump right in:

H/T to RJ Barrett's Instagram

RJ Barrett over 5.5 Rebounds (-110) - 1 Unit

Barrett has started to take much better form after a questionable start to the season. Knicks fans considered their young stud an untouchable asset in the many trade rumors they were involved in this summer, and we are starting to see why if he can continue to score at a more effective clip rather than his streaky scoring we oftentimes see from the young forward.

RJ's rebound number tonight is right around where you would expect from his current run, but he should see a favorable boost going up against the Philadelphia 76ers. Whether they have Embiid or not tonight due to illness, this Sixers team has been especially weak against forwards which I have counted in a few articles. On top of this, the Sixers are the worst rebounding team in the league, and by a wide margin. The Sixers are averaging a lowly 44.7 rebounds per game versus the New York Knicks 60 rebounds a game which puts them second behind Milwaukee.

The Knicks match up nicely against this Sixers team who will be without James Harden, but I believe we will see a big uptick in product from Tyrese Maxey and company. Nevertheless, none of these guys are big rebounders, and I lean Knicks to win this one after slaughtering the Sixers on the glass. Let's hope RJ rebounds his heart out after grabbing 5 rebounds a game in the past three games as opposed to the 8 and 6 he had in the two games prior.

Toronto Raptors / Dallas Mavericks under 216.5 (-110) - 1 Unit

The Toronto Raptors fly into Dallas for a great Friday night matchup in the Association that will be filled with plenty of defense. Toronto features one of the lengthier teams in the league with Scottie Barnes, O.G. Anunoby, and Pascal Siakam leading that front. Their defensive efficiency ranks in the top 20% of the league, which is in their favor as both Dallas and Toronto are bottom 4 in possessions per game at 101.5 and 100.8 respectively.

The Mavericks are no slouches on defense either, which could be because Christian Wood is coming off the bench, but that's another story. Dallas has allowed the 7th lowest points per game in the league at 109 a game, which is favorable for our under as the Raptors allow 105.8 a game. The trends may say that Dallas is one of the top teams in hitting overs this season, but when three of those teams are Brooklyn, Oklahoma City, and Orlando the picture paints itself of why their overs have been strong at 5-2.

Let's cheer for some defense and watch two of the top-half teams in their conferences go at it in an inter-conference matchup.
